Penis Enlargement Oils: Why Don't It Work
Do penis enlargement oils work?
Oils don't work for penis enlargement. There is no evidence that olive oils, leech oil, coconut oil, onions, or garlic will increase the size of your penis. But they’re much more likely to result in unwanted side effects or injuries.
Why doesn't penis enlargement oil work
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not regulate dietary and herbal products. This means that manufacturers can say whatever they want about their ingredients and alleged benefits.
These products are not only ineffective, but they may also be harmful. Many of the ingredients in products can have unpleasant side effects and lead to complications.
Common ingredients in penis enlargement oils
Some ingredients may improve your sexual health; however, they will not increase the size of your penis. You should not use any products containing this ingredient without consulting your doctor.
Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). DHEA is a steroid that naturally occurs in your body. Using DHEA supplements can increase cancer risk, lower good cholesterol, and harm mental wellness.
Pregnanolone. a natural chemical. No research supports pregnanolone for penile growth. A 2009 study found that it affects mental health.
Catuaba bark extract. This chemical showed promise as an antidepressant in a 2005 animal study, but no evidence shows it affects your penis.
Hawthorn berry. According to a 2010 scientific review, this substance may help treat heart problems, but it's not proven to help expand the penis. The review found that too much can induce dizziness, nausea, and harmful interactions with cardiovascular drugs.
L-arginine. A 1997 study with rats revealed L-arginine can lower ED symptoms and make erections harder, but the jury's still out. A 1999 study found it no better than a placebo.
Panax ginseng. This herb may increase erectile responsiveness in ED patients by relaxing penile muscles, according to a 2013 animal study. A 2002 study found ginseng to be safe and helpful for hardening erections.
Citrulline. A 2011 study with males found that this organic molecule can make erections firmer, treating mild-to-moderate ED.
L-carnitine. A 2012 mouse study found that L-carnitine increases sperm count and mobility. This can increase your partner's chances of getting pregnant, according to a 2015 assessment.
Gingko biloba. A 2008 study indicated that ginkgo biloba may increase women's sexual desire by enhancing blood flow and sexual function. This impact was seen when subjects combined supplements and sex therapy.
What should I do if I decide to use oil?
Talk to your doctor before you use any oils. Some ingredients in oils can interact with your medications, cause unpleasant side effects, or make you more likely to get certain diseases.
Do a patch test if you find an oil that is meant to be used on the penis and your doctor says it's okay. So as to:
— Put a little oil on your forearm and rub it in.
— Put a bandage on the area.
— Wait 24 hours and see if you're still itchy. If you don't have any redness, discoloration, swelling, or other signs of irritation, you should be able to use it on other parts of your body.
If your patch test doesn't show any signs of irritation, be sure to carefully follow the instructions for how to use the oil. Only use as much as it says on the label, and don't put it near your urinary opening. Don't use more than what the label says.
Most importantly, don't use oils in bed without first getting your partner's permission. The oil can also make them more likely to have allergies and other problems. If you can, have them do a patch test before you decide to do a full application.
If you or your partner start having strange symptoms, stop using and go to the doctor.
Penis enlargement oils side effects?
Because these oils aren't regulated, you don't know what compounds they include. Supplements can cause discomfort and even lasting negative effects.
Mild side effects:
— Skin irritation
— Rash or bumps
— Fluid-filled blisters
— Itching or burning at the application site
If you maintain using the oils, you may experience more serious adverse effects, including:

Untreated, these symptoms can cause penile scarring or injury.
